EUGINE Proposals for Amendments to the Network Code on Requirements for Generators

At the end of November 2022, EUGINE submitted its proposals for amendments to the network code on Requirements for Generators (NC RfG). The EUGINE proposals pursue eight clearly defined objectives:
- Introduce a “family definition”
- Introduce a harmonized SPGM Definition
- Introduce a harmonized classification of types
- Harmonize FRT asymmetrical limits
- Introduce the concept of “Prototype Declaration”
- Harmonise operational voltage requirements
- Take into account technical constraints in LFSM-O/-U Active Power Response Time
- Modify the protection list for Type B and C
